The Anywhere Festival Finale is more than a showcase—it’s a statement about the power of local creativity. By attending, you’re part of a community that values new voices, diverse stories, and the courage to create.

The Redcliffe Entertainment Centre will be buzzing with excitement throughout the afternoon. From the moment the doors open, audiences will be welcomed into a space filled with music, laughter, and anticipation. The foyer becomes a stage to feature young and emerging local performers, while in the main theatre you can be among the first to see two new works in development.

It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday: discovering new theatre, connecting with community, and celebrating the cultural richness across City of Moreton Bay.

Zietta and the Little Larrikins

A joyful puppet musical set by the bush and beach, inviting children and families to laugh, sing, and celebrate creativity. Created by the much‑loved Larrikin Puppets, this production celebrates culture, connection, and creativity in a way that is accessible and joyful for audiences of all ages. Be swept up in the humour, heart, and wide‑eyed wonder of Zietta and her playful puppet friends. Some are local, some are intergalactic, but all bring a sense of fun and curiosity to the stage. Expect catchy songs, colourful characters, and plenty of opportunities to laugh, sing, and explore together.

This event is suitable for those aged 5 to 9 years old.

Maria the Musical

This musical is inspired by the true journey of Maria, a Chilean immigrant whose resilience and hope shine through powerful songs and storytelling. This new musical honours her journey of resilience, overcoming domestic violence, navigating the challenges of immigration, and raising her family against all odds. With music composed by Matthew Rabbas and orchestrations by internationally acclaimed composer Dr Daniel Rojas, the production is infused with a vibrant Latin American aesthetic. As a work in development, this performance will feature scenes and songs hosted by writer/director Cindy Sykes.

This event is suitable for those aged 12 and up.
