The Fabulous Blues Brothers & Aretha is a high-energy tribute show celebrating the timeless music, comedy, and swagger of Jake and Elwood Blues, combined with the soul-stirring power of Aretha Franklin. Inspired by the legendary 1980 film and the cult characters born from Saturday Night Live, this production is more than a tribute — it’s an electrifying live experience packed with rhythm, blues, soul, and gospel.

Leading the show as Joliet Jake Blues is powerhouse vocalist Brad Kendrick. With over 20 years of international experience performing Blues Brothers productions across cruise lines and at Universal Studios Japan, Brad brings Jake’s raw vocal grit, humour, and commanding presence to life on stage.

Alongside him, Tristan James steps into Elwood Blues’ signature black suit and shades. With a background in musical theatre and extensive experience as a tribute performer, Tristan captures Elwood’s cool, deadpan charm while driving the show’s pace and energy as co-producer.

Adding a whole new dimension to the production is American-born vocalist Asabi Goodman as Aretha Franklin. A celebrated musical theatre performer, Asabi has starred as Matron “Mama” Morton in CHICAGO and Motormouth Maybelle in the 2022–23 national tour of Hairspray! The Musical. Her performances of Aretha’s greatest hits deliver powerful vocals, gospel influence, and heartfelt authenticity.

Backed by a horn-driven live band, the show delivers iconic hits including Soul Man, Shake a Tail Feather, Respect, Think, and many more — creating a crowd-pleasing night of nonstop energy and soul.
